is believed to be the oldest Methodist chapel in continuous use. Originally built in 1764 and steeped in a rich history at the centre of how the Methodist movement began. A great place to visit where you can enjoy this lovely old building and read more about its history.
While the Chapel is still used for Services every Sunday, it is also a great venue for weddings and concerts. Our open door approach means anyone can marry here and have the service exactly the way they would like it - see the Wedding page for details.
Signage Campaign Maintaining any historic building is hard work and expensive. We would like to make sure all visitors to the village find their way to our beautiful building but installing signage is hugely expensive. Please suport our campaign to raise funds for new brown visitor signage and help to retain this important piece of history. Please Click on the Virgin moneygiving button below or go to the 'Support Us' page.
Christmas will soon be upon us, for more information, click events.
