In Methodist churches, you are free to structure your event just as you choose - the only compulsory part is the legal declarations which must be included in any marriage ceremony. Otherwise, you may choose a traditional Methodist or other Christian service or write your own vows. We would be happy to include readings, poems and music that are special to you. There's no need to stick to Bible readings or hymns.
You don't need to be a Christian or a churchgoer, and you don't need to live in the area to marry here. Couples from different faiths or cultures are welcome, we are happy to include readings or prayers from other holy books. The chapel is a resource that is open to all. Our ministers are happy to work with you to create a special day that reflects your lives.
The chapel is a charming venue for weddings of all sizes. It seats more than 200 including the galleries, but the design also makes it an intimate venue for smaller parties.
